Lindsey Decker – Administrator

Lindsey Decker is the Administrator at New Life Children’s Home. She attended Cedar Ridge School District where she graduated as an Honor Student. She then graduated ASU Newport on May 5, 2014 with an Associate of Arts Degree. She finished at Arkansas State University in 2016. Lindsey has earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis in Social Work, Sociology, and History. Lindsey married Jimmy Decker April 9, 2011. They have a four year old son and currently a three month old son. Jimmy works at Arkansas One Call and has been employed there since he graduated High School. Lindsey gained experience by working under the Administrator Dr. Ann Webb. Dr. Webb was Lindsey’s Elementary School Principal and then became the Superintendent. Dr. Webb was a great mentor to her. She enjoys her job and loves working with all of the children. I pursued this degree so that I can continue to work with children who are in need and who do not have someone to care for them and love them as they should.  Every child deserves to be loved and to feel wanted. Growing up in school there were always kids who did not have a good home life and it was truly sad. It hurts to see an innocent child being mistreated, neglected, or not given the opportunities that they deserve. Therefore, we want to be able to make a difference in these children’s lives and be there for them. We have had many children come through here who have gotten in some trouble or just don’t have someone to care for them. With some structure and love we see that they are great children who have just been led down the wrong path.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and compassion.”  Colossians 3:12
